I am sitting here drinking my coffee looking out at a very foggy morning. I am pondering our Sunday School lesson for today…The lesson point is “We have a sure hope when we trust in Jesus.”
The lesson writer uses scripture from Luke 2: 25-35 to show us how Simeon’s hope (faith) guided him to see the coming Messiah. We see that obedience to God’s word and the continuous seeking for the coming of our Lord will provide for us guidance we need to travel through the time we have here on earth.
The question now for you is how do you define Hope? It is not something we cross our fingers and wish comes true…My Hope can be found in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son for whosoever shall believe in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”
